Sample resumes from Sample Resume, Part II by Thomas Toldoo is a terrific book. I have read the first sample resume, and I really enjoyed the fact that this book has a second sample resume, in addition to the first. There are some people who think that writing a good resume is something that can be learned. The more information that you have on the different parts of the resume, the better chance you have to create the perfect resume.
In the first part of the sample resume, Thomas Toldoo explains all of the basic information about yourself, such as your name, job title, education and professional experience. You will learn about what industries you belong to, where you live, your previous work experiences, your contact information (phone number, e-mail address, and home or work address), and more. With each section of the resume that you use, you will learn how to position it in order to make it more appealing to the employer.
The second part of the sample resume, takes you through the steps to create your very own sample resume. You will learn about: the difference between a letter of interest and a resume, as well as the different sections of a resume, such as the educational information, job skills, etc. With the second part of the sample resume, you will also get to learn how to make sure that your resume is professional enough for the employer to look at.
In the next few sections of the sample resume, you will learn about the two major parts of a resume. First, there is the header, which provides an overview of your career goals, work experience, and educational background. Then, there is the body of the resume, which provides you with information about the different job experiences that you have had, including positions, job titles, job duties, and other details that are specific to the industry or position that you are applying for.
Next, you will learn about the key focus area, which will help you to customize your resume for the specific position that you are applying for. You will also learn about areas of the resume that should be in bold, and how to make sure that you are stating all of the relevant information, along with any relevant awards or certifications that you may have.
The third part of the sample resume, also includes the date of the initial contact with the employer, which provides you with an opportunity to explain why you have not yet contacted them. If you are worried about your ability to answer some of the basic questions about the position that you are applying for, you will find this section of the sample resume to be very helpful.
In the fourth part of the sample resume, you will learn about the types of cover letters that you will need to send. With the sample resume, you will be able to follow some of the general rules that you can follow when it comes to creating a cover letter, such as: using standard fonts, using professional language, providing your contact information (phone number, e-mail address, and home or work address), and talking about your experiences that would be most relevant to the job that you are applying for.
Each of the sections of the sample resume, including the first, second, third, and fourth, were written by Thomas Toldoo. If you are looking for tips about writing a good resume, you should consider picking up a copy of the Sample Resume, Part II. I highly recommend that you take the time to read this book.
